An absolute gem! Craving raw marinated crabs, I decided to try out The Gogi, and it did not disappoint. The crabs were outstanding--fresh, spicy, and generously portioned, especially for the price. The sides complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly, frequently checking in and even offering me a miso soup to balance the spice. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and offers a welcoming atmosphere.

This restaurant is located conveniently off Highway 75. It offers an exceptional dining experience. Their seafood pancake surpasses any I've ever had, and the BBQ beef short ribs are simply mouthwatering. Highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious cuisine with convenient access.

Ordered our lunch meal through DoorDash and we were not disappointed! You get lots of food for your money! I ordered the bulgogi bento and was not disappointed. Extremely flavorful and the sides were great. My daughter wanted short ribs. She said they were a bit chewy but still very flavorful. Our meals both came with rice as well. I'm very gluttonous when it comes to sides which if they're really good and varied who can blame me? So I ordered a single side extra plus a double order for when I just want a little extra with my meals this week. Very worth it! I think my two favorites were the cucumbers and the fish cakes. Overall, we enjoyed our lunches, thank you The Gogi!

Great food reminds of home in Hawaii. Side items are excellent. My daughter always enjoys getting the Kim Chee Chige. Hostess lived in Hawaii previously and provided great service.

The Gogi is located in an unassuming spot and easy to miss but the food is excellent! It was never busy the few times I've visited this restaurant. The servers were also always very nice. The food comes in huge portions and when the items say it is very 2 people, it can actually be 3 or 4. Prices are on the higher side but the portions of food do make up for it. My top dish I've tried was the bossom. The pieces of pork were so tender and felt like they melted before I could even chew. The cabbage wrap along with the pickled/fermented veggies helped cut the fattiness of the pork. Side were also all good and there was a good variety.

I actually have had The Gogi in my bookmarks for years, but I didn't remember and was surprised when my family pulled up to the parking lot. My extended family was visiting from out of town, and we were desperately trying to find a Korean restaurant that would fit 7 people on a Saturday at 7PM (peak dinner hour). The Gogi had a large table available for us, so we didn't have to wait at all. There were also a decent amount of people eating inside. We ordered kimchi soup, soybean soup, and a ton of orders of LA galbi. The soups came with the meat, but they accidentally charged us for the soups initially. The galbi is really high quality and well marinated. I could eat 10 portions of galbi by myself, so this was a fantastic meal. Their side dishes are just okay. I like how they give you raw garlic, ssamjang, and lettuce to go along with your meat. Overall, I had a pretty good experience. Prices are definitely steep, but almost all Korean places' are. Service was just okay. They messed up on charging us for soups and didn't bring out rice until we had asked for them. I don't think there's anything special about The Gogi, but I suppose if all the other popular places in K-Town and Frisco are full, this is a solid option for limited KBBQ and Korean food.

ORDER Seafood and Green Onion Pancake Vegetable Wrap with Pork The seafood and green onion pancake had a lot of seafood bits in it which made the dish so good. Very good flavor overall! Also a pretty sizeable portion! I split the vegetable wrap with pork with 2 other friends and it was more than enough. The lettuce was very fresh and the leaves were big which made it perfect for wrapping. I will say that the cabbage was a little bit on the saltier side but overall it wasn't too bad. The pork was boiled well with a good flavor that was complemented by the vegetables. Overall, great food just a little bit on the pricier side! VIBES The place was pretty empty but it was also a rainy Tuesday evening. The place is spacious and very clean. SERVICE Our waitress was so so nice. She gave us side dishes on the house! Continued to check on us throughout and the food came out very quickly. Just to note, there is an option to do bbq as well where you can tabletop grill different meats.
